Chod Retreat; Cutting Through Fear

Chod Retreat; Cutting Through Fear
Chod is a dynamic ritual practice of visualization, mantra, song and symbol that centers on facing one’s death and triumphing over dualism through loving-kindness. It focuses on cutting through fear and obstacles immediately by understanding what to cut and how to cut it. This class focuses on the explanation and meaning of the Chod practice and the Tibetan and English liturgy for singing the Chod songs. Because vajrayana musical instrumentation play an important part in this practice, you will train in the meaning and usage of the drum, bell and thigh-bone trumpet.
