About the Classes

Classes will be held every third Saturday and every last Wednesday evening of the month. In August, the last class is QRA College Graduation and takes place on a Saturday.

Each class will be four hours long.

Classes will be composed of lecture, demonstration, discussion, question and answer periods and hands on practice.

Classes will be held in the San Jose area, forty-five minutes south of San Francisco, at 397 E. Campbell Ave, Campbell, Ca 95008 at theYogic Medicine Institute. See directions below.

The Teachers

Kali and Derrick Pawo are QRA Referral Practitioners who have been teaching Ayurvedic medicine for over a decade. In that time they have founded three Clinics, two Ayurvedic Spas and trained Ayurvedic Therapists, Panchakarma Therapists, Ayurvedic Chefs, Yoga Therapists, Yoga Teachers and Meditation Instructors, as well as given many classes on Health, Nutrition and Ayurvedic Lifestyle around the U.S.. They have trained in the Vedic science of Vastu, the classical remediation of home and environment. Their studies of natural medicine include clinical training in India with Drs Naram, as well as clinical training with Dr. Saraswati Burhman and Dr. Sarita Shrestha of Nepal. In the College, they share their passion for QRA in a step-by-step, in-depth training to support health practitioners in learning this extraordinary system.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Campbell, YMI is the home of a regular curriculum of classes, retreats, web-cast events, wellness clinic, Ayurvedic healing therapies and many classes.

Campbell is 45 minutes south of San Francisco, just outside San Jose, California. Accessible by public transportation or nearby highways, this location is easy to get to and easy to enjoy being just a few blocks from a local park, Whole Foods and on the main street of downtown Campbell.

Parking
Free 2 hour parking is offered on E Campbell Ave and surrounding streets as well as in the nearby parking lots located at E Campbell Ave & Harrison and S Central Ave & Orchard City Dr. (there are several other free parking lots located throughout the downtown area)

For all day events you may park in the Library parking lot off of Harrison before you turn right on Civic Center Dr (after Grant St). Civic Center Drive also offers all day free parking.

Bus & Train:
The VTA Light Rail (Mountain View - Winchester route) runs adjecent to our location and drops off one block away at the "Downtown Campbell" stop.

Caltrain and Amtrak can be taken to the San Jose Diridon Transit Station and from there the VTA Light Rail (Mountain View - Winchester route) taken to downtown Campbell.
