The Yogic Medicine Institute offers a gentle, therapeutic Yoga practice aimed at releasing deep tensions within your body and mind. Anyone can do this Yoga. It is tailored to you, meeting your body where it is at, melting away the achey, stuck places and open you up to a sense of renewal, strength and spaciousness. All classes include yoga postures, meditation and breathing practices.

YOGA STYLES

Gentle Yoga 
Increase flexibility and mobility while releasing deep tensions in the spine.  Yoga for Your Back nourishes the whole body's systems, relaxes the mind, and cultivates opening, strength and balance.  Appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness. 

Yoga for Strength & Flexibility
Vinyasa is a flowing dynamic form of yoga in which movement and postures are synchronized with the movement of the breath.  The smooth movement of the poses from one to the next become like a dance as strength, flexibility, and mindfulness are cultivated.  This class is appropriate for all ages who have a moderate level of fitness

Yoga for Deep Relaxation 
A gentle, nurturing hatha yoga practice that heals, balances, and rejuvenates the body. This is a practice of bringing awareness and deep restorative, relaxation of the body. Appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness.
